A fixed-income security is an
investment that provides a return in the
form of fixed periodic payments and the eventual return of principal at
maturity.
Payments made by a fixed-income security are known in advance.
Investing in Fixed-Income Securities
Fixed-income Securities offer an important alternative in times of unpredictable equity, foreign exchange and commodities markets. Fixed-income Securities may be an income-generating component, or, equally, a conservative capital preservation component of any investment portfolio. NCI Finance offers the opportunity to trade in a wide range of Sovereign, Government and Corporate Bonds in US dollars, the Euro and the British pound through its trading Platforms, with the positions of the fixed-income components of each client’s portfolio then being monitored online in real-time.
Clients are able to search through a full list of Fixed-Income Securities on offer, by currency and maturity. When a Bond pays out ‘coupon’, the cash will be credited to the client’s account in accordance with normal settlement procedures.
